Preschool Admissions
Preschool Admissions is a three-step process:
- Initial Admission Request - to start the process with an admission request, complete the items within the Alma Start online data update or new admissions links (see the Existing or New Families information on the district's Admissions and Data Update web page).
- Admission Confirmation - expect to receive a generic email confirmation indicating that your application has been submitted.
- Application Status Confirmation - notification of preschool acceptance, on hold (wait list) or denial will be emailed to you. Please allow for some processing time.
Additional Preschool Admissions Requirements
- Children must be 3-5 years old to attend PVELC.
- To apply for UPK for the 2026-2027 school year, your child needs to be 4 years old on or before 8/1/2026.
- Preschool registration is ongoing throughout the year.
- All of our programs run 2-5 full days per week 7:30AM-3:00PM.
- If your child will be 5 years old by 8/1/2026, your child is age-eligible for kindergarten and is no longer eligible for UPK.
- UPK is an application process.
